Vintage Dress/Skirt

Bow in back of skirt
front of skirt

hair bow to match skirt

This skirt was intended to be a retro dress. Unfortunately, I did not fit the top portion of it, so we took off the top and made it into a skirt. At least the skirt portion fit. All the hard work would have been for nothing. With some of the fabric I made this bow. I like to make bows to mach my outfits.

Stationary

Home made stationary set
The other day, I came across a beautiful stationary set, while cleaning out a cabinet. My mother bought the stationary set from Mrs. Humphrey at a tea party. Included in the set were beautiful writing papers, envelopes, stickers, sponge, sachet, etc. I went to my craft supplies and found some envelopes, paper, stamps, craft scissors, etc. I decorated some envelopes and writing paper with stamps, blending chalks, and glitter.
I like to collect pretty stationary and writing journals. I have found quite a few at the Dollar Store. This was a fun project!

Stamp Collection

Shelf for Stamp Collection
Lillibeth and Lydia taught me how to make embossed cards. My father made me a shelf, so that I could organize my stamps, ink, embossing tool, etc.
Cards can be made for all occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, for those that are sick, shut-ins, encouragement, etc.

Sun Bonnet Sue Quilt
Made by Mrs. Wright
During ladies bible study, Mrs. Sherman and Mrs. Humphrey brought some lovely quilts for our class to enjoy! I am interested in making a Sun Bonnet Sue quilt. Mother has mentioned that I need to first finish some other sewing projects before I can start on a quilt.

Fishing

Fish
Fish

and more

Fish
Today my dad took me fishing. I caught six fish but I only got pictures of four because two hopped off the hook when it saw the seagull over head.
I learned how to catch fish from my grandpa Plumlee.
